Believe Hybrid Hoodie
The Believe Hybrid Insulated Hoodie is a special piece to me in the Azyre collection.
From the initial drawings of this style, I had a clear vision of what this piece was going to be. It needed to be technically functional, a “must-have” layer in the system, but it also needed to look fashionable- and I wanted an asymmetrical zip to create a neck warmer. A few people in the early stages of design were doubtful that this concept would work in a layering system. However, I had faith that we could accomplish my vision. It took lots of samples, multiple designers, and hours of conversations.

I tested each sample everywhere I went, hunting, work or just grocery shopping. Women would come up to me all the time asking me ”What jacket are you wearing?” The first few times, I didn’t even know what to say. There would be a long pause and then I would answer: “I designed it and I am in the process of building a women’s hunting & outdoor apparel line.” Frequently, the woman I was talking to would take a picture and ask where she could find it later. These overwhelming responses validated that this style was meant to be.
When the hybrid was finally perfected after multiple samples, I tested its functionality during 20+ hunts and in all types of weather. The super-soft fluffy fleece that snuggles around your neck and head feels absolutely amazing. The stretch side panels flatter every figure and create a comfortable fit with the Vision Baselayer Top and Achieve Grid Fleece under it. We used Primaloft Silver insulation in the front and back body, along with super light and soft ripstop fabric. This synthetic insulation is extremely high tech so it keeps you incredibly warm without a lot of bulk or weight.
Due to the mixture (hybrid!) of materials, we ended up with a two-toned color theme in the jackets, which I loved as it accentuates the best parts of the jacket. We offer the Believe Hybrid Insulated Hoodie in four different colors to have options for all women.
The popularity of this style validates my thoughts on its design, function, and warmth.
